Granite Adds Over 50 Jobs through Rhode Island Expansion

Drawing on over 25 years of experience in the telecom industry, Rand Currier has guided business operations for Granite Telecommunications as its COO since 2002, during which time he has helped grow the company's revenue to over $1.35 billion with no help from outside investors. Under Rand Currier's leadership, Granite continues to expand throughout the country, and it recently announced an expansion of its Lincoln, Rhode Island office.

Granite opened a Rhode Island office at Albion Crossing in December 2013, but the company has already outgrown that space thanks in part to seven consecutive years of adding over $100 million in revenue. In May 2017, the company announced it would be opening a new 23,000-square-foot building, which is triple the size of its previous location. In conjunction with the office space expansion, the company announced plans to hire at least 50 new employees in sales, leadership, tech, and customer support positions.

The announcement of the Rhode Island expansion continued a consistent growth trend for Granite. In the past year, the company has added a third office tower at its headquarters in Quincy, Massachusetts and opened a new office in Philadelphia.
